LiceBomb is a plant-based head lice removal kit designed to help eliminate lice and remove nits. Each kit includes our topical oil formula, a metal nit comb, and 2 disposable hair caps, giving you everything you need in once convenient package.

LiceBomb® takes a two-step approach. First, the oil-based formula works through physical coating action to help eliminate lice. Then, thorough combing helps remove lice and nits from the hair.

Tea tree oil and lavender oil are the medicinal ingredients in our plant-based formula, which is clinically supported and licensed by Health Canada as a Natural Health Product.

An alternative to conventional pesticide-based lice treatments, LiceBomb® contains no silicones, synthetic insecticides or drying alcohols. The oil-based formula leaves hair soft and manageable, with a fresh, pleasant scent.

As with all head lice treatments, follow-up applications are recommended to help address newly hatched lice as part of the head lice life cycle. Repeat the LiceBomb treatment twice, every 7 days, and comb out all nits, as no head lice treatment can be guaranteed to eliminate every egg.

Licebomb offers a plant-based alternative to many traditional lice products. Our Health Canada licensed formula contains carefully selected oils and comes as a complete kit with everything needed for treatment. Unlike many products that can leave hair feeling dry, LiceBomb leaves hair feeling soft and conditioned after use, and has a refreshing botanical scent.

Apply LiceBomb generously to dry hair, making sure the hair and scalp are thoroughly saturated from root to tip. Cover the hair with the included disposable hair cap and leave on for the recommended time (60 minutes). Rinse, wash the hair with shampoo twice, then use the included stainless steel nit comb to remove lice and nits. Repeat the treatment twice, every 7 days, to help address newly emerged lice as part of the head lice life cycle.

The application itself takes only a few minutes. After applying the formula, leave in on for the recommended 60 minutes before, washing, and combing the hair. Treatment time will vary depending on hair length, thickness, and the amount of combing required.

Yes. After the recommended 60 minutes, rinse the hair and wash thoroughly (twice) with shampoo before combing with the included nit comb.

We recommend using the stainless-steel nit comb included in the kit. Fine-toothed metal combs are designed to help remove lice and nits more effectively than many plastic combs.

Head lice treatment is a process rather than a single event. As with all head lice treatments, follow-up applications are recommended to help address newly emerged lice as part of the head lice life cycle. For best results, use LiceBomb exactly as directed on the product label and follow the complete Directions for Use.

LiceBomb is made with plant-based oils, so hair will feel oily only while the hair and scalp are fully saturated during treatment. After a minimum of 60 minutes, simply shampoo and rinse the hair thoroughly twice to remove the oils. Most users find their hair feels clean, soft, and conditioned after treatment.

LiceBomb has a pleasant, natural aroma from its blend of tea tree, lavender, lemongrass, and vanilla. While you'll notice the scent during application, it is generally not overpowering and fades after the hair is washed.

One LiceBomb kit is designed to treat one person with medium to long hair. Depending on hair length and thickness, one kit may be enough to treat two individuals with short hair. Be sure to use enough product to completely saturate the hair and scalp during each application.

Unlike many traditional lice products that can leave hair dry or difficult to manage, LiceBomb contains nourishing plant-based oils, including MCT coconut oil and castor oil, which help leave hair feeling soft, smooth, and easier to comb.

Yes. LiceBomb is licensed by Health Canada for use in children 4 years of age and older when used according to the Directions for Use.

Absolutely. Although head lice are most common in children, LiceBomb can also be used by adults.

LiceBomb contains carefully selected medicinal essential oils along with castor oil and MCT coconut oil. As with any topical product, discontinue use if irritation occurs. Perform a test patch on back side of neck
prior to use. If no reaction develops, continue with normal use. Always read and follow the Directions for Use and Risk Information before use.

No. Head lice are human parasites and cannot live on cats, dogs, or other household pets.

Head lice survive for only a short time away from the human scalp, so extensive household cleaning is usually unnecessary. Wash pillowcases, hats, and recently worn clothing in hot water, and place items that cannot be washed in a sealed bag for 48 hours if desired. Vacuuming furniture and car seats can provide additional peace of mind but is generally sufficient.

Only individuals with an active head lice infestation should use LiceBomb. However, everyone in the household should be checked carefully, as treating only one affected person can allow lice to continue spreading.

Head lice spread primarily through direct head-to-head contact. They do not jump or fly, but they can crawl from one person's hair to another during close contact.

Check all household members, complete all three recommended applications, use the included nit comb to remove eggs, avoid sharing hats or hair accessories, and notify close contacts so they can check for lice as well.

For hygiene and safety reasons, unopened products may be returned within 14 of delivery. Products that have been opened or used cannot be returned. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we'll make it right.
