LiceBomb® is a Health Canada-licensed Natural Health Product formulated with tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) and lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia) as medicinal ingredients.

Published scientific research has evaluated tea tree oil and tea tree oil/lavender oil formulations in the management of head lice, including research involving active head lice infestations, lice eggs (nits), and laboratory activity against live head lice.

Tea Tree Oil + Lavender Oil

Published clinical research has evaluated a topical formulation containing tea tree oil and lavender oil in people with confirmed live head lice. Separate research has also investigated the activity of a tea tree oil/lavender oil formulation against lice eggs.

Tea tree oil has also been studied independently in laboratory research involving live head lice and lice eggs, providing additional scientific evidence relevant to one of LiceBomb®'s medicinal ingredients.

Why Repeat Applications?

Research examining lice eggs found that some viable eggs remained after a single application of the studied tea tree oil/lavender oil formulation. LiceBomb® is designed to be repeated twice, every 7 days, together with thorough nit combing, to help address the head lice life cycle.
